Mendiak Elgetako Summit, little known and promoted. However, it is well individualized and visible to the west of Elgeta (473 m).It is a well-filled elongated ridge of pines. The northernmost summit, west of Alto de Karabieta (558 m) is called Iturbe (602 m). The climb to the summit is made from the same Elgeta (473 m). On leaving the village to Karabieta a concrete track goes west. Here begins the path that eventually develops tracks through pine forest and field to the summit.
